Lam Kwan Fai, an award-winning composer on the international stage, is known to have a diversified style ranging from classic to modern, cinema to theatre, and dance to multimedia. Studied aboard at California Institution of the Arts (aka. Disney School), he was recognized by his peers and obtained an Artist Visa. During his stay, he participated in many Hollywood movie productions and internationally acclaimed theatre production as a composer.

Julian Chan, an activist in the mainstream media and a versatile musician, of whom is also a composer, producer and musician. He was awarded the Lions Clubs Joseph Koo Music Composition Scholorship, Composer and Authors Society of Hong Kong Limited, CASH Composition Scholarship and Parsons Music Foundation Scholarship. His diversity of works ranges from classical to mainstream pop, from commercials to television movies, from CD to theater and even electronic and new media. Movies he has composed for are recognized by the film industry and have been selected for many international film festivals, including The Hong Kong International Film Festival, Warszawski Międzynarodowy Festiwal Filmowy, Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival, etc.. The singers he has produced for includes Renee Lee, BOP, Kan Li Wen and Agnes Chiang. Other collaborators include Waltz Disney, Ocean Park and City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong.

Personal Awards include Hsu Tsang-Houei International Composition Competition Prize and Asian Composers League Young Composer Award ; his works have been nominated for Emmy Awards for Best Documentary, Annie Awards for Best Student Film, Awarded Monterrey International Film Festival Best Short Fiction Film Award and Awarded IndieProducers’ Awards 2009 for Best Animation Film.
While getting his Bachelor of Music Degree from Hong Kong Academy of Performance Arts, he received numerous awards, including 2006 Hsu Tsang-Houei International Composition Competition Prize, 2007 Asian Composers League Young Composer Award and 2009 a full scholarship from Hong Kong Jockey Club to pursue a Master of Fine Arts at California Institution of the Arts.
Kwan Fai activly participates in a wide range of music production for movies, theatre and dance. The movies he composed for have entered many international film festivals and were awarded, such as “Across Land Across Sea,” awarded the 41st Emmy Awards for Best Documentary Film; “The Monk,” awarded the 3rd Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival Award for Best Short Film, “Little by Little,” awarded the Monterrey International Film Festival Best Short Fiction Film Award Award for Best Short Film, “The Lost Generation,” awarded the 2009 IndieProducers’ Award for Best Animation.
In 2007 to 2008, Kwan Fai has presented the position of Music Director for the International Association of Theatre Critics (Hong Kong) "Expressing and Expressions - Performing and Critiquing" Musical Theatre Amateur Scheme 2007/08. At the mean time, he was also responsible in music and lyric composition.
After graduating from the Calformia Institution of the Arts and while working for an Emmy Awards nominee composer Gil Talmi’s Thoughts in the Grey Circle studio, he participated as a freelancer in many other large-scaled productions. He has worked with Stella Alder Acting Studio (New York), Boston Court Theatre (Pasadena) and Early Morning Opera (LA). In the summer of 2013, he was invited by The Old Globe Theatre in San Diego to participate in their production of “Double Indemnity.” Creative team includes highly acclaimed and Tony Awards winner Christopher Barreca, Head of Design at Yale University’s Stephen Strawbridge, etc.

In 2010, Julian composed for the soundtrack and the theme song for movie “Love at Seven Sight” by award winning director Alfred Cheung. Commercials he has composed for includes, “MasterCard PayPass TVC” featuring Jim Chim and “New World China Land Micro Film TVC”.
As a record producer, concert musician, conductor and music director, Julian has worked with many famous brands and artists. His works include, “Waltz Disney’s 90th Anniversary Concert” musical arrangement (Chiu Tsang Hei as Music Director), Waltz Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong Live Concert” as a synthesizer programmer and keyboardist, Mayday’s DNA Concert (Hong Kong) as guitarist and Ocean Park’s Halloween Fest composer and arrangement. Artists he has worked with includes Renee Lee, BOP, Kan Li Wen, Jessie Liu, Agnes Chiang, Amazing Grace Worship Music Ministry and more. In 2012, Julian took the position of Music and Sound Director for an American gaming company G3 Asia Limited – The Ultimate Gaming Machines, which includes music composition and sound design.
